Tear trough

These fillers are temporary (usually lasting between 9-12 months).
The tear trough is the deep crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek, it casts a shadow below your eyes resulting in a tired appearance. Some clients complain this makes them look older.
In some cases, tear troughs are inherited lines, in other clients, it's because the facial tissues lose volume and become thinner, and slightly crepey in appearance, this often makes applying makeup more difficult as it collects and highlights the small lines and imperfections under the eye.
The treatment aim
Reduction of depth around the tear trough using filler to inject the area making the skin look fuller and tighter. This is a popular, non-surgical method of facial rejuvenation.
